A poem of Qudsi Mashhadi, Iranian Poet, used as lyric in a song

Ghodsi Mashhadi, (Also written as Qudsi) is a Persian poet and man of letter of 17th century, migrated to India.

I just watched this music video and posted it on my Twitter page and felt like to share the lyric in Persian and English here:

Watch this on my Tweet

Here is the a brief introduction of the poet and his poem in Persian, followed by what I understood of the poems and could translate in English:

Good enough, a glance at the world like the Sun,
Good enough, a warm breath and a glowing heart!

Blooming is awarded to flower in the garden of earth,
Good enough, tears on our eyes like a dewdrop!

Knowing that reunion with my love will not happen,
Good enough, the hope for the dawn arriving after this dark night!

Although not appreciated from narrow-minded
Good enough, to dialog with those who understand!

In a world that may not remain from someone much,
Good enough, if remains from Ghodsi (1), a pleasant rhyme!

(1)    Ghodsi  -  The poet is  referring to himself  (Ghodsi Mashhadi )as a poetry norm

This is how #Rumi introduces himself

Here is the original poem of Rumi in Persian followed by what I understood and could describe in English:

Short of thoughts I am, as I don’t know myself! My fellow Muslims!
Neither a god fearing man, nor a Jewish, nor Zoroastrian nor Muslim!

Neither from the east nor the west, neither of shores nor oceans,
Neither from elements of nature, nor from the spinning universe

Neither from China or India, nor from Turk or Bulgaria
Neither from land of Iraq, nor from Khorasan's soil,

Neither from water or fire, nor from wind or soil,
Neither of skies or earth, nor of minerals or existence,

Neither of this world nor the past, neither of  heaven nor the hell,
Neither from Adam and Eve, nor from paradise and its gardens

The first is God, the last is God, his visible signs and invisible is God
Whereas I don't know anyone but "God or from God"

My location is nowhere, my identity is unknown,
Neither body nor soul, I am but from soul of souls!

A poem by Fereydoon Moshiri - Iranian Poet - "suffocation from lack of freedom"

Fereydoon Moshiri  1926-2000

English Translation by Daylaman-Views blog

Pounding on doors,
Clawing the windows,
“I feel suffocated from lack of freedom”,
Sick and tired of things,
I want to screech!
I am addressing you all,
Open these doors,
I am looking for a breathing space,
An open air on a terrace,
On top of a mountain or
the heart of a desert to take a free breath!
Oh, I want to shout as loud, so my voice reaches you
I will speak out louder!
This may reduce my pain
Asking those of you who are still asleep!
Who will join me to speak?

A poem from Mohammad Reza Shafei Kadkani (Iranian scholar, author and poet)

Mohammad Reza Shafei Kadkani

This is an informal translation of a short poem in Persian that I like very much. All the the responsibility of bad translation is mine and not from the original poem!

In this poem a desert flower is talking to the breeze passing by in the desert!

English translation by Daylaman Blog:
------------------
What is the rush and where are you going to?
The desert flower asks the breeze!
I am depressed here, replies the breeze!
This desert and its sands and you should also leave!
I wish I could, stuck in the ground are though my feet!
So where are you rushing to?
Anywhere except here to be!
Have a safe journey from this awful desert and please!
Give my regards to blossoms, rain and trees!
